About
Why I do this work
I’ve spent my career helping people navigate big shifts in technology. First in digital marketing, when organizations were told they had to move fast or get left behind. Now in AI, where the pressure feels identical and the stakes are higher.
What I kept seeing, in both moments, wasn’t a technology problem. It was a leadership problem. Organizations were making individual, quiet, uncoordinated decisions about tools that were reshaping how work actually got done — and nobody was building a shared frame for any of it.
That gap is what Touchable Prosperity is built to close.
What I've learned
The organizations that fare best with AI aren’t the ones that move fastest. They’re the ones that move with intention — with a clear sense of what they’re trying to protect, what they’re willing to change, and who gets a voice in those decisions.
That’s not a technology conversation. It’s a leadership one. And it’s one most nonprofit teams are having alone, in fragments, without the language or the framework to make it collective.
I built this practice because I believe the nonprofit sector deserves better than generic AI consulting. Your organizations run on mission coherence, staff trust, and donor relationships that took years to build. The tools that are supposed to help can quietly erode all three if nobody is paying attention.
Paying attention is what stewardship means. It’s the word I keep coming back to — not governance, which is a word for compliance, but stewardship, which is the practice of caring for something on behalf of people, with accountability to the future.
What I offer
The entry point for most organizations is the AI Guardrails Session — a two-to-three hour working session with your leadership team that produces seven concrete deliverables within twenty-four hours, and is fully credited toward the Touchable Prosperity 90-Day Pivot if you continue.
The 90-Day Pivot is the full engagement: a phased consulting program that builds your board’s decision-making capacity, your data infrastructure, your internal AI policy, and your staff’s ability to use these tools in ways that strengthen their work rather than replace their judgment.
I also write The Commonwealth Circular on Substack — weekly essays for nonprofit leaders who are thinking seriously about what comes next. And the AI for Work and Life podcast, for teams and individuals navigating this shift at the ground level.
A note on how I work
I’m not an IT consultant and I don’t sell software. I don’t show up with a vendor recommendation or a forty-page policy manual nobody will read.
I show up with a framework, a working session, and the experience of having had this conversation with enough organizations to know where the hard parts actually are.
My job is to help your leadership team think together about something genuinely difficult, and leave with something they can act on.
